Hey... made it outside!

'Mid November' - oil on board - 11x14 - © Marc R. Hanson '09

Well the light isn't what you'd call dramatic now. But it's pretty warm so I am glad to have made it out of the studio today for a little while. This one was a study in "Geeez... there really isn't much of difference out there between my feet and that barn two miles away!!!"

And that's the light that some of us have as the norm. A lovely rendition of a pleasant scene. Love it.

Hey Painter! I love this piece! Great job, fresh, lovely color. It's a 'breather' piece.

Good work! Felt good being out huh? :)

Beautiful rendering. I can feel the sun, and the landscape is so sensitively interpreted.

Thanks Mick. Really? I would have thought that you had a lot more atmospheric recession with the moisture from the sea.

I'm happy that you like it Kami. Yep, felt like where we should be. Maybe today too? Looks like the same situation. Hmmm....

Thank you Kathy. I'm glad that it comes across that way. :)

I like the way you lead the eye into the upper right side of the painting. The warm golds against the blue water are nice, as well.

Mark, an everyday scene made better by an artist. Love the harmony of those colors, and as always a great sky! Congrats on getting the demo painting into the OPA Regional.

This is such a classic Fall scene, I love the crispy colors and brilliant blues. Beautiful!
