'July Mill Pond'

Here is a studio piece just completed that I painted pretty much verbatim from the field study.

I love both of them, the freshness in the field piece and the delicious depth to the studio painting...yummy :)

WoW! i really don't have many words to express my exact feelings about your paintings.
i think they remind you of the freshness of spring everytime you look at them

Hi Marc!... Both as fresh as newly baked bread! "You" have captured (as always) the essence of the moment with perfect value and compositional structure... applying the least amount of detail necessary to convey the "whole". Beautiful work... I always enjoy my visits to your site!

Wish that I lived closer... and had less going on in my own painting and personal life... and I'd gladly set up my easel next to yours... just to share ideas!

Good Painting... and good luck with the workshopping!
Warm regards,
Bruce

Gorgeous image beautifully rendered. The quality of the reflections is stunning.

Ooo, this is awesome. Perfect.(I prefer the "study", but then I always prefer "studies" to finished works.)
