HI again Marc!.... What a "kaleidoscope" of colour.... form... subject and mood ... all of this wrapped into one room?
It will be a knockout show Marc-a well-deserved success!
Good luck with both the workshop and show! Wish that "I" were closer... and less busy myself.... "I" would be front-row-and-centre!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
These are all outstanding Marc! I learn so much by looking at the closeups and studying the brushwork.
Wonderful collection of work Marc. I love the fog in 'Beach Day', the background trees in 'North Chatham Beach', the quality of the light in 'From Above', and the silo & barn in 'Spring Arrives', to mention just a few. I've seen a few of your pieces at the Windrush Gallery in Sedona, AZ and they're great to see in person. Makes me wish I could fly over to Orleans to see this group.
A fabulous exhibition in store for those lucky enough to attend. What variety you have created. Love them.
Wow. You could have posted one of these a day for a month! They are all stunning. I guess I wasn't aware that you could get any better, but I think it is happening.
So I sent you an email about our radio show. I know you are swamped but let me know your thoughts ... we would be honored to have you as a guest.
All the very best for the workshop and show. This is a wonderful collection of works so I have every confidence you'll be a huge success. I particularly love the powerful colours in Tangerine Skies and Memories - just breathtaking!
Viewing one great painting after another builds up and impressively showcases your talents!
They are all fabulous! Best of luck with the show.
Just stunning.
Love the waterfront, boats and beach paintings. A little bit different from the Minnesota farmland. Great show Marc!
That is going to be an AMAZING show!!
One of these days I'm going to be able to take a class from you. In the meantime, I'll enjoy seeing your work online.
Hi Marc,
What an amazing selection of work! Your work has such mood and I love the atmospheric quality you capture.Wishing you the best in your show and workshop. Thanks for sharing and for being inspirational to others!
Marc, these are fabulous. You have such a way with color, contrast and light. It is great to see them all together, the show will be amazing. Congratulations and good luck!
Absolutely spectacular is all I can say!
Impressive as always Marc! Good luck....hope it`s a sell out.
As alwways-beautiful work Marc
Hi Mark,
Good luck with your exhibition. I'm hanging at the Blue Heron Gallery in Wellfleet. I wish I was closer, I'd come meet you. If you get up to Wellfleet, please stop by to see my work and say hi to Roy for me. I've been to Addison Art Gallery many times. I'm certain I've seen your work. I'll have to make a special point of looking for it there, next time I go. You're work is beautiful. All the best.
Well the show was a great time on the Cape. I won't be buying that Lear Jet that I had planned on picking up following the show, to make it easier to travel, but the show looked great and Helen Addison and her staff did an incredible job of hanging and displaying the art. Every single piece was lit individually and in a place that best presented it on the walls.
Thanks again Bruce. Hope to meet you IRL sometime.
Thank you Justin. I know that I like to see images LARGE myself so can appreciate how they show on the blogs. Nothing worse to me than clicking on a painting that I really want to see enlarged and it doesn't!
Hi Shane... Thank you very much. I'm really floored by the depth of substance that so many commenters as yourself make on the work of others. I feel flattered that the work causes that to happen.
Thank you.
Thanks Mick!!! Good to hear from you.
Hi Leslie... I must have that somewhere in the emails but honestly did not see it come through but will go back and check.
Thanks for your vote of confidence. I'm trying... :-)
Thank you Caroline. Very nice of you... :)
Hi Judy! Nice to hear from you too. Thank you very much.
Thanks Debra and Jala. Always appreciate your kind words.
Bruce... Thanks. Yes, different... an ocean! ;-) That means lobster and cod! Yumm....
Marian... Thanks so much. I hope that we can work together some day too. Much appreciated. :)
Thank you Debbie. Very kind of you to say that. :)
Thanks Jo.... :-)
Lyn, Hodges and Gary...
Thanks so very much for your comments.
Hi Susan... Thank you! I made it to Wellfleet for some of those succulent oysters but it was too late in the evening to catch the galleries open. I'm going to be back out there in October for at least a week so should make it in there. I was in Blue Heron in June and it's a very nice gallery. Likewise, I'm sure I saw your work also but will go again to connect the name now.
A wonderful collection of work Marc colourful and light filled. 'Sun & Sand and 'Tangerine Sky' a couple of my favs!!
