'What A Difference A Day Makes' - oil on linen - 8x10 © Marc R. Hanson 2010
I spent the day on studio tasks but was itching to get out and paint the warm and moody gray day. I did in the afternoon and went to the same spot as yesterday to see what the differences would be. I love the color of this kind of a day, so different than yesterday.
After painting I went to Olive's in Marine and had a pizza and wine. I've been there before and couldn't eat the wood fired oven pizza because it was too charred. But that was shortly after they opened and they seem to have gotten the hang of it because tonight's pie was just outstanding! To top it off, I met a lady who taught Art of all things, in the area schools. She and her husband were very nice and it made a nice topper to the painting day.
